Fovabera is a personal habit-tracking and motivation app. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition, nor does it provide medical or health services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use our application.

By using Fovabera, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Fovabera is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use Fovabera.

4.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you create an account and use Fovabera, we collect:

Account Information: Email address, name, and (if signing in with Google) profile photo
Habit-Tracking Data: Your chosen start date, daily activity count, and amount saved per day (entered by you to calculate counters and savings)
Personal Goals: Your personal reasons, wishlist rewards (items you want to purchase with saved money), and savings targets
Usage History: Optional records you choose to log, and optional personal notes

4.2 Information Collected Automatically

Device Information: Operating system (iOS/Android), device timezone, app version
Crash Reports: When the app crashes, we collect device information, OS version, and the cause of the crash to fix bugs (via Firebase Crashlytics)
Authentication Tokens: Session tokens to keep you logged in
Usage & Analytics Data: App usage events, screens viewed, and device identifiers, collected via Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve it

4.3 Information from Third-Party Services

If you sign in with Google, we receive:
- Email address
- Display name
- Profile picture URL
- Google Account ID

4.4 Purchase Information

If you purchase premium access:
- Anonymous purchase identifier (managed by RevenueCat)
- Purchase history
- We do not see or store your credit card details — these are processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store

5. Nature of the Data (Not Health Data)

Fovabera is a personal habit-tracking and motivation tool. The information you enter (such as a start date, counts, and savings) is used solely to calculate general progress counters, milestones, and savings estimates.

Fovabera does not measure, monitor, diagnose, or process any biometric, clinical, or medical health data, and it does not provide any medical or health service. We do not treat the data you enter as special-category health data; it is used only to power the app's general tracking and motivation features.

6. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

✅ Calculate personalized statistics (days tracked, money saved, milestones reached)
✅ Send you motivational notifications at scheduled times
✅ Sync your data across devices

Your data is stored on Google Cloud servers operated by Firebase, which may be located in the United States, Europe, or other regions. By using Fovabera, you consent to the transfer of your data to these locations.

We rely on Google's Standard Contractual Clauses and other appropriate safeguards for international data transfers in compliance with GDPR.

10. Data Retention

Active Account: Your data is retained as long as your account is active
Account Deletion: When you delete your account, all personal data is deleted within 30 days from our active systems
Backups: Backup data is automatically purged within 90 days
Crash Reports: Anonymized crash logs may be retained for up to 90 days for debugging purposes

12. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time:

Open Fovabera
Go to Profile → Settings
Tap "Delete Account"
Confirm

Alternatively, email us at ataseversoftware@gmail.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request."

Upon deletion, all your personal data will be removed from our active systems within 30 days.

12.1 Resetting Your Data (Without Deleting Your Account)

If you wish to clear only your in-app progress data (your tracking history, logged records, earned rewards, and statistics) without deleting your account:

Open Fovabera
Go to Profile → Reset
Tap "Reset"
Confirm

Resetting does not delete your account or login credentials; it only clears your progress data. This action cannot be undone.

13. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

🔐 All data transmitted via HTTPS/TLS encryption
🔐 Firebase security rules restrict data access to authenticated users only
🔐 You can only access your own data, not other users'
🔐 Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text (handled by Firebase)
🔐 Regular security audits via Firebase's built-in security tools

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Children's Privacy

Fovabera is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

15. Notifications

Fovabera sends local push notifications to support your motivation and progress:

Daily motivational reminders
Milestone celebrations (1 day, 1 week, 1 month, etc.)
General progress and milestone updates

Notifications are scheduled and sent locally on your device — they do not require sending data to our servers. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

16. Cookies and Tracking

Fovabera is a mobile application and does not use cookies. We do not use advertising trackers and do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties. We use Firebase Analytics to measure app usage and improve the service; this analytics data is used only for product analytics, never for advertising.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do:

We will post the updated policy in the app and, where available, on our website
We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top
For significant changes, we will notify you via email or in-app notification
Continued use of Fovabera after changes means you accept the updated policy
